Chris Westinghouse Associates only pursues high quality assignments. It would be fair to describe CWA as a "niche" consultancy. Others would describe it as "boutique." It is a one-person practice that draws on the expertise of independent consultants in a variety of fields as and when necessary.

 

I strictly limit the number of assignments on my books at any given time. The reason for this is simply that I am focused on high quality and consequently will not "chase a quick buck." My emphasis is always on reputation management.

 

Specialisations

• Advisory and consulting projects in Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, PR, Media, Issues and Crisis Management, Reputation Management, Spokespersonship, Strategy and Policy Development as well as short-term interventions.
  
• Perusal of documentary material with a view to linguistic and impact enhancement. I do editing work in the humanities.
• Communications auditing and training.
• Board service.

 

Since I have extensive experience as a non-executive director of companies in a range of sectors internationally, have qualified as a Board Appointments Candidate of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and have been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, I will consider opportunities to serve on the boards of companies in this region. My special interest is the communications aspects of good corporate governance.
